Using this with my own images

Is there a way to generate all of the image files with my own images?  Is it there and I'm just missing it?

Thank you!

Hi,

The easiest way to get started generating your own collections is to use the Excel Add-In. You can download it from here - http://www.silverlight.net/learn/data-networking/pivot-viewer/excel-tool. That page also contains a pretty good explanation on how to use the Add-In.

There is also a command line tool that gives you a little more flexibility - http://www.silverlight.net/learn/data-networking/pivot-viewer/command-line-tool.

Otherwise if you want to write your own app to generate dynamic tiles then you can use the Deep Zoom tools - http://www.silverlight.net/archives/whitepapers/deep-zoom-tools. Generating the CXML is fairly straight forward, the schema is described here - http://www.silverlight.net/learn/data-networking/pivot-viewer/collection-xml-schema.

Hope that helps

Would you mind please including some steps as to how to integrate your code base with that content?  That appears to be where I am stuck.  Thank you so much

I solved the problem.  I didn't realize you change the cxml location in the actual HTML file you are loading.  Thanks for the awesome code!

Great, I'm glad you've got it working.

Let me know if you have any more questions
